Description of the route – 1^st day / Saturday

10 km

We set out following the intrinsic marking round the church and the town hall to the pedestrian crossing, where we start following the yellow and the blue tourist marking. We continue to the left (against Svratka river flow), along the football ground. We cross over the footbridge following the blue marking, through the borough of „Kninicky“. We continue still along the blue marking, following the road in the direction of the village of „Jinacovice“, we turn right and pass through the valley under the mount of „Mnisi hora“. The blue marking continues to the left (2,5 km), but we keep walking straight, following the intrinsic marking along the gardens to the crossroad, where we continue on the „panel“ road until we reach the marking of cycling route No. 5005. We can see the airport „Medlanky“ on the right hand side. We enter the borough of „Medlanky“, where we get to the checkpoint K1 – „Medlanky airport“ (4,7 km). We follow the yellow marking towards right to the saddle of the hills „Medlanske kopce“ (5 km). We turn right, following the green marking, which will lead us to the bank of Svratka River. We cross over the bridge and reach the restaurant „U Klimesu“. Then we turn right, following the yellow marking (against the river flow) to the trip destination.

We mount slowly until we reach the checkpoint K2 „Pod Kopaninami“ (6,1 km). We turn left, following the green marking, which will take us all the way to the village of „Jinacovice“ to the restaurant „U Kuceru“ – checkpoint K3 (7,1 km). Then we follow the red marking back up the hill to the ridge of „Velka Baba“. We can see a golf course on the left. Checkpoint K7 – crossroads of „Pod Sychrovem“ (9 km). We continue to the right, following the yellow marking over the mounts of „Velka Baba“ and „Mala Baba“, until we reach the checkpoint K1 – airport „Medlanky“ (14,0 km). We follow the yellow marking all the way to the saddle of „Medlánecké kopce“. Then we turn right, following the green marking, which will lead us to the bank of Svratka River. We cross over the bridge and we reach the restaurant „U Klimesu“. We turn right, following the yellow marking (against the river flow), back to the trip destination.

Then we turn left, now following the yellow marking until we reach the checkpoint K7 – the crossroads „Pod Sychrovem“ (8,0 km). We follow the yellow marking to the town of „Kurim“ (11,5 km). Then, at the train station, we turn right, following the blue marking, which will take us to the settlement of „Podlesi“. We follow the blue marking and mount to the ridge of „Babi lom“. (Those who are interested, could follow a more difficult, saddle trail, to the quarry „Babi lom „red marking). We follow the blue marking down the hill to be checkpoint K4 „Pod Babim lomem“ (16,5 km). We turn right, following the road all the way to the village of „Lelekovice“, until we reach the red marking. At the crossroads, near a restaurant, we right. We continue on the road, following the yellow marking, until we get to the checkpoint K6 „Ceska“ – restaurant „U Baumannu“ (20,2 km). Then we follow the red marking all the way to the checkpoint K7 – crossroads „Pod Sychrovem“ (22 km). We continue to the left, following the yellow marking over the mounts of „Velka Baba“ and „Mala Baba“, until we reach the checkpoint K1 airport „Medlanky“ (27,2 km). We continue to the right, along the yellow marking to the saddle „Medlanske kopce“ (28 km). Then we turn right, following now the green marking, which will take us to the bank of Svratka River. We cross over the bridge and reach the restaurant „U Klimesu“, we turn right and follow the yellow marking (against the river flow), back to the trip destination.

We continue together with the trail 33 km, all the way to the checkpoint K6 „Ceska“ – restaurant „U Baumannu“ (27, 2 km). Then we follow the red marking to the checkpoint K7 – crossroads „Pod Sychrovem“ (29,5 km). We continue to the left, following the yellow marking over the mounts of „Velka Baba“ and „Mala Baba“, until we reach the checkpoint K1 – airport „Medlanky“ (34,8 km). We follow the yellow marking to the right to the saddle of the hills of „Medlanske kopce“. Then we turn right, following the green marking, which will take us to the bank of Svratka River. We cross the bridge and reach the restaurant „U Klimesu“. We turn right and follow the yellow marking (against the river flow), back to the trip destination.

10 km

Vom Start ab folgen Sie der IML – Markierung an der Kirche und am Rathaus vorbei bis über den Zebrastreifen, wo Sie auf die gelbe und die blaue Markierung treffen. Weiter führt Sie die blaue Markierung (an der Svratka bachaufwärts) am Fußballplatz vorbei, dann geht es nach rechts auf einer Brücke über die Svratka und weiter durch den Stadtteil Kníničky. Von der Landstraße in Richtung Jinačovice biegt die Markierung nach rechts ab, und Sie folgen ihr weiter durch den Talgrund unter dem Hügel Mniší hora. Dort, wo die blaue Markierung dann nach links abbiegt (2,5 km), gehen Sie jedoch geradeaus weiter und folgen der IML – Markierung an Kleingärten vorbei bis zu einer Kreuzung, ab wo es auf einem Betonplattenweg weitergeht, den auch die Radwanderroute 5005 nutzt. Rechts von Ihnen liegt der Segelflugplatz Medlánky. Am Beginn der Bebauung des Stadtviertels Medlánky gelangen Sie zum Kontrollpunkt K1 „Medlánky – letiště“ (Medlánky – Flugplatz) (4,7 km). Dort biegen Sie nach rechts ab und folgen der gelben Markierung bis zum Sattel „Medlánecké kopce“, wo Sie nach rechts abbiegen, um von der grünen Markierung bis zum Ufer der Svratka geführt zu werden, die Sie auf einer Brücke überqueren. Beim Gasthaus „U Klimešů“ direkt nach der Brücke biegen Sie nach rechts ab und folgen der gelben Markierung (an der Svratka bachaufwärts) bis zum Ziel.

Sie folgen ihr zunächst durch den Talgrund unter dem Hügel Mniší hora und dann in einem stetigen Anstieg bis zum Kontrollpunkt K2 „Pod Kopaninami“ (Wegweiser „Pod Kopaninami“) (6,1 km). Hier biegen Sie nach links ab, und die grüne Markierung bringt Sie ins Dorf Jinačovice zur Gaststätte „U Kučerů“ – Kontrollpunkt K3 (7,1 km), wo Sie nach rechts abbiegen und der roten Markierung zurück bis zum Kamm der „Velká Baba“ folgen – unterwegs sehen Sie links einen neuen Golfplatz. Es folgt der Kontrollpunkt K7 „Rozcestí Pod Sychrovem“ (Wegweiser „Pod Sychrovem“) (9 km). Weiter geht es nach rechts der gelben Markierung folgend über die Gipfel von Velká Baba und Malá Baba, bis Sie zum Kontrollpunkt K1 „Medlánky – letiště“ (Medlánky – Flugplatz) (14,0 km) gelangen. Dort biegen Sie nach rechts ab und folgen der gelben Markierung bis zum Sattel „Medlánecké kopce“, wo Sie nach rechts abbiegen, um von der grünen Markierung bis zum Ufer der Svratka geführt zu werden, die Sie auf einer Brücke überqueren. Beim Gasthaus „U Klimešů“ direkt nach der Brücke biegen Sie nach rechts ab und folgen der gelben Markierung (an der Svratka bachaufwärts) bis zum Ziel.

Am Bahnhof biegen Sie nach rechts ab, und die blaue Markierung führt Sie zur Siedlung Podlesí und weiter bergauf bis zum Kamm des Babí lom. (Es besteht hier die Möglichkeit, auf einem anstrengenderen rot markierten Weg bis zum Aussichtsturm hinaufzusteigen.) Die blaue Markierung führt Sie hinab zum Kontrollpunkt K4 „Pod Babím lomem – lelkovadlo“ (16,5 km). Dort biegen Sie nach rechts ab und folgen dem befestigten Weg hinunter in den Ort Lelekovice, wo Sie auf die rote Markierung treffen. Sie gehen weiter geradeaus, An der Kreuzung beim Gasthaus biegen wir rechts ab, der Straße entlang der gelben Markierung folgend kommen wir zum Kontrollpunkt K6 „Česká restaurace u Baumanů“ (20,2 km) – die rote Markierung bringt Sie weiter zum Kontrollpunkt K7 „Rozcestí Pod Sychrovem“ (22 km) (Wegweiser Pod Sychrovem). Weiter geht es nach links der gelben Markierung folgend über die Gipfel von Velká Baba und Malá Baba, bis Sie zum Kontrollpunkt K1 „Medlánky – letiště“ (Medlánky – Flugplatz) (27,2 km) gelangen. Dort folgen Sie der gelben Markierung bis zum Sattel „Medlánecké kopce“, wo Sie nach rechts abbiegen, um von der grünen Markierung bis zum Ufer der Svratka geführt zu werden, die Sie auf einer Brücke überqueren. Sie folgen der roten Markierung bis zum Kontrollpunkt K7 „Rozcestí Pod Sychrovem“ (Wegweiser Pod Sychrovem) (29,5 km). Weiter geht es nach links der gelben Markierung folgend über die Gipfel von Velká Baba und Malá Baba, bis Sie zum Kontrollpunkt K1 „Medlánky – letiště“ (Medlánky – Flugplatz) (34,8 km) gelangen.
